Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia have been a sought-after design team in the fashion industry for more than a decade. They are responsible for many of the couture hand embroideries and unique textiles utilized by some of the industry’s most esteemed fashion houses including Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Jean- Paul Gaultier and Manolo Blahnik.
In 2004, the high demand for their unique aesthetic led them to launch a luxury home brand, Ankasa. The fashion-forward home collection was an instant hit and their products can be seen in the most exclusive design centers around the world.
Five years later, in 2009, the designers launched their eponymous collection, Sachin & Babi. It was time to get back to their fashion lineage. The evening line stays true to the designers’ luxury roots, yet is accessible to a broader spectrum of women than a typical designer collection.
Visionaries in the field of textiles, the couple introduced in 2015 Ankasa Bespoke with the mantra that luxurious fashion forward textiles could translate to any design aesthetic.
