Pattern Description:

This pretty design captures the button-like blooms of chrysanthemums and shines a light on the remarkable artist, Charlotte Horne Spiers, after whom the wallpaper is named. The charming, watercolour look has been recreated by digitally printing to achieve beautifully tonal flowers cascading across the wall, that you can almost imagine bringing their delicate fragrance into the room.

Reminiscent of a fresh, summer's day with soft Primrose yellow and luscious green foliage.

Available in 4 colours: Primrose, Teal, Blush and Apricot

Charlotte Archive Inspiration: Design for a wallpaper, Charlotte Horne Spiers (1844–1914), England, late 19th century
Inspired by a watercolour in the V&A’s Prints and Drawings collection, the artist Charlotte Horne Spiers began her career at the Minton workshop in Kensington Gore and her designs spanned textiles, wallpapers and ceramics.
To create a contemporary wallpaper from this watercolour floral required meticulously drawing around each petal, stem and leaf to detach them from the background, so that the pattern could be recoloured into 4 pretty colour combinations.
