This magnificent wallpaper of tropical flora and lush greenery has been beautifully reworked from an original carpet design, held in the archives of the V&A in South Kensington. The sumptuously thick ink coverage and beautiful hand-painted effect that characterise surface printing provide the perfect medium to recreate the richness and artistry of the highly patterned original. Surface printing, a heritage technique pioneered in 1838 and continued in our Lancashire factory today, brings another level of character and depth to the wallpaper.
Softer and calming in its appeal, the pattern takes on a completely different look in Natural with its layers of soft chalky inks in warming, natural hues.
